Tenderbest: A Brand that Divides Opinion

Tenderbest is a brand that has been operating in Singapore for over 30 years. The chain has over 20 outlets across the island and serves a variety of food items ranging from burgers to fried chicken. While many people love Tenderbest's food, the brand has also received its fair share of criticism from customers.

One of the key ways that customers express their opinions about Tenderbest is through online reviews and comments. A quick search for "Tenderbest Singapore" on Google or social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram will yield a plethora of results. These reviews and comments come from a wide range of customers, from regulars who have been eating at Tenderbest for years to first-time visitors who are trying it out.

Positive Reviews

For many customers, Tenderbest is a beloved brand that offers delicious food at affordable prices. Positive reviews often mention the chain's crispy fried chicken and tasty gravy. Some customers also praise the friendly staff and quick service at Tenderbest outlets.

Negative Reviews

However, not all reviews are positive. Negative reviews often criticize various aspects of the chain, including the quality of the food, the cleanliness of the outlets, and the service provided by staff. Some customers have reported finding hair or foreign objects in their food, while others have complained about long wait times and rude staff.

Managing Online Reviews

For any business today, online reviews can make or break a brand's reputation. This is especially true for food businesses like Tenderbest where customers' experiences are closely tied to their satisfaction with the product.

It is therefore essential for brands like Tenderbest to actively monitor and respond to online reviews and comments. By listening to customers' feedback, brands can identify areas where they need to improve and take steps to address issues raised by customers.

While negative reviews can be challenging to deal with, brands must take them seriously and respond in a professional manner. By acknowledging customers' concerns and taking concrete steps to address them, brands can turn negative reviews into positive outcomes.

In conclusion, Tenderbest is a brand that has divided opinion among customers in Singapore. While many people love the chain's food and service, others have criticized various aspects of the brand. As online reviews and comments continue to play a crucial role in shaping customers' perceptions of brands, Tenderbest must actively manage its online reputation to ensure that it continues to attract loyal customers while addressing any issues raised by detractors.

    An Open Letter

My Dad doesn't really care about Father's Day. He never has and likely never will. Every year, I try to get him excited about the day, but he's always disinterested. Unlike my classmates who are always talking about how they will be celebrating their Father’s day and enjoy delicious food, my memories is always having a meal without him. By the time he had reach home, he is smell with sweat and seems too tired to be bothered with anything.

Slowly as times goes, Father’s day is just another day for me, till I have become a Father myself, and started working in the F&B like him.

A day like this, means it would be extra busy and everyone of us in the team needs to be there to cope with the cooking and serving. When we serve a family with kids that is of similar age to our kids, we would be reminded of our own.

I have realised that it was not that my Dad had not cared about having a meal with us, he had a responsibilities as the breadwinner. He have a job to do, that is to serve the rest. Someone needs to make the sacrifice, and in this case it was my Dad, and now it’s my turn.

There’s no regret since we love our job, it’s our joy to serve happy diners. Especially during this pandemic, being able to reopen is already a blessing. If we love our Dad, everyday is Father’s day and we could always have a meal with him.
Now that I’m a Dad myself I have understood this, it’s not that we dun care about spending time with our family, each of us have a role to play.

To my Dad, thank you for being an awesome dad and I’m slowly learning the love you have been providing for us all these years.

And to my little boy at home, Daddy loves you.

To my Msian colleagues who have been away from their families, stay strong. We will get thru this together.

Last but not least, my fellow F&B friends, those working in essential lines and to all fathers, a Happy Father’s day to you.
